Sian James MP welcomes Ministerial visit in order to praise local community organisations. On Thursday the 27th August 2009 Sian James MP was pleased to be able to take Wayne David MP from the Wales Office to the Blaenymaes area. The aim of the visit was to praise the work done by the police, local residents and community organisations in working together at community level.
The Ministerial visit came as a result of the recently launched Building Britain’s Future (BBF) campaign which is the Government’s plan to work with the British people to respond to the economic downturn and together build a stronger, fairer and more prosperous country.
Sian was proud to be able to show the minister the excellent community work at Blaenymaes which includes the continual efforts of JR Groundforce, the Police, 104 Community House and the New Drop in Centre. Each of which provides invaluable services to the community, the type of which that is advocated by the BBF
