Secretary of State visits Swansea East - 26th Feb, 2009

Sian James MP was delighted to welcome Paul Murphy Secretary of State for Wales to the constituency.
On Thursday February 19th, Paul Murphy Secretary of State for Wales visited Swansea East at the invitation of Sian James MP.The Minister started his tour at the Tomos Watkin Brewery on the Swansea Enterprise Park. The company is enjoying its success and has significantly increased production, in order to meet demand.
Sian was also able to introduce Mr Murphy to Companion Group, Dawnus, SA1 and the day ended with a whistle stop tour of the Ethos building.
Mr Murphy was encouraged to hear how some small businesses are responding positively to the current economic difficulties. He also reiterated the Governments commitment to doing all it can to offer help and support to small businesses.
Sian was very proud to have this opportunity to show Mr Murphy around the constituency and thanked all the companies and projects for taking the time to welcome Mr Murphy.
