Daily Mirror Honour the Brave Campaign - 27th Feb, 2008

Sian James has said that she was pleased to back the Daily Mirror campaign

"I have signed an Early Day Motion in support of the Daily Mirror campaign. The EDM recognises the bravery, dedication and sacrifice of members of the armed forces serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. It also calls on the Government to ensure that all personnel in the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force killed or wounded in enemy action are awarded a medal.

"I believe that widows and families of those who have lost their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq will derive great comfort from this recognition."
