Sian James MP asked Ministers at question time, what progress is being made on the Leitch report

Sian James MP said:

"I asked the Secretary of State was progress was being made to implement the Leitch Report which relates to improving employee skills in the workplace. I raised the development of Small and Medium Enterprises in SA1.

"Many of these companies employ less than 20 people, where financial and time pressures are great. They are often reluctant to invest in training, so I impressed upon the Secretary of State the need to ensure that appropriate support and advice is available to SME’s to encourage investment in skills training."
