HM Treasury has announced more free cash machines for Swansea East

"In 2006, a new agreement was reached between the Government and leading banks to provide 600 new non-charging cash machines throughout the UK.

"Many ATMs charge a fee for access to cash, in some cases up to £1.75 per transaction. It is often the poorest who are hit the hardest by these charges.

"I have been campaigning in Parliament for increased access to free cash machines in Swansea East and recently had the opportunity to visit a new free cash machine at Clase Post Office.

"The Treasury has informed me that Swansea East is in line to receive more free cash machines and they will provide me with more details of selected sites as soon as they become available."
