Mass Toy Product Recall - 16th Aug, 2007

Sian James MP says she has received a number of complaints from people in Swansea East following the mass toy recall.

Sian James MP said:

"Constituents have approached me to express concern about the mass recall of toys.

"I have written to the Government to represent my constituents and ask for advice on the procedures and ensure that correct quality controls are in place. Some of my constituents have made interesting points about the recall and distribution of such products in the United Kingdom.

"Clearly, if the products are potentially unsafe the manufacturer has made the correct decision. I will update those people who have written to me as soon as possible."
