Packaging Vote - 24th May, 2007

Sian James has asked people to vote on the website about packaging used in supermarkets for fresh produce

Sian James MP said:

"I want people to vote on my website about the packaging that is used for fresh produce in supermarkets. This follows a Parliamentary Question I asked last week in the House of Commons about this issue.

"There are concerns that some items are over-packaged with materials that cannot, at present, be recycled.

"A number of voting options are available, however if you feel that you would like me to hear other views, please email me. I will represent any comments received to the UK Government."
