Energy White Paper

The Government has published the Energy White Paper

Sian James MP said:

"This week sees the publication of the long-awaited Energy White Paper. It sets out a framework for action to address challenges such as climate change, declining reserves of Oil and Gas, and an increased demand for energy. It also discusses ways in which we can become more energy efficient and the potential for individuals and communities to generate their own energy.

"Published alongside the White Paper there is a consultation document on Nuclear Power. My views on this are very well known but I am more than happy to hear your comments on any issues relating to our energy needs.

"I will collate all comments and send them to the Secretary of State."
